Anagallis Herbs is dedicated to both protecting the body and protecting the earth. All of our products adhere to the highest standards. Our ingredients are indigenous to North America, and we ensure they are safe from over-harvesting. You will not find ingredients that are on the endangered plant-species list.
When possible our herbs are wild harvested or organic. In all instances the ingredients are pesticide-free. No products are tested on animals, and all ingredients are natural. There are no petrochemicals, phylates, or parabens.
Anagallis Herbs has many skin care and baby products that are simple, natural, and healthy. Solar energy is used to extract the potent plant life-force, this process also avoids destroying the plant spirit. The plant matter that is not used in the final phases of processing is composted back into the earth. Each product is a synergistic blend of two or more basic ingredients. When the components are combined, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Quality is assured by our Certified Master Herbalist Christine Church, who is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and as such; is a board certified holistic health practitioner. Each herbal product is tested for balance and strength of its ingredients.
Our many baby and mother products were born during Christine's last month of pregnancy. We have confidently used all of our products and can attest to their efficacy. Our other skin care products are inspired by family and friends. Our flesh wound balm OUCH! is the result of family members who were embarrassed to put something called Baby Butt Balm on their face (and other body parts). It just didn't seem right for baby to receive all of Mother Earth's healing graces.
Anagallis Herbs has been nurturing the health of our friends since 2005. We are located in Cos Cob, Connecticut as well as the beautiful shores of Lake Bomoseen in Castleton, Vermont (why live in just one place when you can live in two?)
